Born, raised and currently residing in Apple Valley, Minnesota with his wife and two kids; Chris Gerlach is the foundation of Capitol Direct. Chris graduated with a B.A. in Political Science from the University of St. Thomas and earned an M.B.A. from the University of South Dakota. As a former Captain in the United States Air Force, he worked on maintaining and deactivating weapons systems. Among other accolades, Chris has served on the Dakota County Human Services Advisory Committee and as a board member of the Apple Valley Optimist Club - an organization dedicated to fostering a wide range of youth programs. Chris Gerlach bought Capitol Direct in the mid 2000s and brought with him his values discipline, and business ethics which reinforced the strong foundation of this already successful and growing organization.
Paul Kellum joined the team at Capitol Direct in 2009. He resides with his wife and daughter in Farmington, Minnesota. Paul is the President of the Eagan Wordmasters Toastmasters group, board member of the Crystal Business Association and an active member of the Dakota County Regional Chamber of Commerce. As Director of Business Development, Paul is dedicated to growing the business by constantly increasing customer benefit, harnessing Capitol Direct's differential advantages and adhering to positive values. If you get an email or a letter from Paul, you may notice it is always signed "T.U.A." That stands for "Total Unconditional Acceptance" and serves as a constant customer service reminder to our friends and clients that they are the reason Capitol Direct is in business.
As a Direct Marketing professional, Ann Plunkett brings to the table over 20 years of experience as both a customer and as a service provider. Her unique perspective in the industry allows her to say "yes" with confidence and then make it happen! You can relax knowing that Ann's extensive knowledge of printing options and requirements, database and list management and postal regulations will ensure your project is done right and on time.
Gail is the engine that keeps Capitol Direct humming. Her 11+ years of experience in the mail industry makes her an invaluable resource and asset to Capitol Direct and our customers. When not managing the work crews or driving the mail truck, Gail can be found tuning up our high speed ink jetting machines and getting her hands dirty on the assembly line. Her work ethic, keen mechanical sense, and problem solving ability is just one more reason why Capitol Direct is a leader in on-time, quality mailing service.
